Altrenogest Formulations. Storer
et al., (2009) 1
demonstrated significantly longer suppression of
estrus and ovulation as compared to 5mL
(1000mg) of medroxyprogesterone
acetate (DEPO). Moreover
the pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) data suggested effective estrus
suppression for > 12 days with 1.5 mL of liquid BioRelease Altrenogest
(150mg/mL) and > 30 days effective estrus suppression with the longer acting
microparticle formulation.
